A Milestone Month By Colin Stott, Executive Director of GRN USA
This is a milestone month for us as we move into our new mobilization center. God has brought us a long way since moving out of our old properties in Los Angeles. Our hearts are full of praise for all God has done over the past few years during our building program. We have had an abundance of delays, setbacks and pressures with the construction. But we believe God has used the process for our growth. By His grace He has enabled us to praise Him for ALL the things He has allowed. A trusting and praising heart is precious to the Lord, especially during times of difficulty.
We have said before that GRN is not about buildings - it’s about fulfilling a vision to reach every language with the good news. But we do need buildings in which to live and work and we are glad for our new facilities. We plan to have many displays highlighting the history, vision and progress of the work over the years. More important is that God’s glory would be always on display so that all who come through our doors will recognize that it is He who has accomplished an extraordinary work through a group of ordinary people who have made themselves available to Him.
We are calling this building our Global Mobilization Center. Our focus is to mobilize a great army of people to pray for the work. The real battle for souls takes place in the heavenly realm. It is the agreement in prayer of our prayer partners that will bring about significant progress on the ground. More ministry partners and staff members also need to be mobilized. We are serious about getting the gospel out in every language and we need more people to join with us to help accomplish this.
On September 17 we are having an Open House. This will be a good opportunity to promote the work in the community, make new friends and renew old acquaintances. Above all, it will be a time to bless the Lord for not only providing us with a fine new facility, but also for giving us a great team of ministry partners to stand with us. Join us if you can. We would love to meet you and give God the glory together!
